A woman's recollection of events and her actions up to and including the night her partner was allegedly murdered have come under scrutiny. Krystal Hewitt spent all of Tuesday in the witness box in the High Court at Palmerston North facing questions from defence lawyers. Hewitt was in a relationship with Codi Wilkinson, who Jeremiah and Mariota Sua, Dean Arthur Jennings, Jason David Signal and Quentin Joseph Moananui are on trial for killing in September 2019. The five men are also accused of hurting Wilkinson’s friend, Kyle Rowe, while kicking the pair out of the Mongrel Mob.
