RHOD (or as the non-fans call it, The Real Housewives of Dallas ) has become the first Real Housewives since Miami to be canceled, with Bravo saying there are currently no plans for D’Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott and co to return for Season 6. “There are currently no plans to bring The Real Housewives of Dalla s back next year, and beyond that nothing official has been decided,” a Bravo spokesperson said in a statement. This makes RHOD the second show to be over for now. It follows Real Housewives of D.C. , which lasted just one season in 2010. Though Miami was canceled in 2013, it was recently announced to be returning on Peacock , a route Dallas could take if there is enough of a fan campaign to bring it back. Why RHOD is going on indefinite hiatus As with most TV cancelations, low ratings seem to be to blame here, with the show the least-viewed of all the Bravo Real Housewives franchises.
