Puneeth Rajkumar’s Gandhada Gudi completes 100 days, park in Bengaluru named after the film

Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar’s last film Gandhada Gudi was released in theatres on October 28, 2022, after the actor’s death. The film recently completed 100 days at the box office and still draws audiences at the theatres. The docu-drama highlights the efforts needed for environment protection and conservation of nature.

Directed by Amoghavarsha, Gandhada Gudi on February 5, completed 100 days since its release. To celebrate the occasion, a park in Bengaluru’s Jayanagar has been renamed as Gandhada Gudi.

According to a report by ETimes, a total of 101 saplings were planted at the park, in memory of Puneeth Rajkumar. Puneeth’s wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and Gandhada Gudi filmmaker Amoghavarsha attended the special event, organised by Jayanagar MLA Sowmya Reddy and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).

Children from different schools also took part in the event. ETimes further reported that the school kids drew paintings pertaining to the importance of nature conservation. The kids further showed their works of art to Ashwini, who appreciated their efforts and posed for pictures with the children.

Ashwini also shared about her late husband’s film Gandhada Gudi completing 100 days in theatres. She tweeted, “The journey of a real hero – Gandhada Gudi completes 100 days!”

The film producer dropped a short video clip of the film, which captured Puneeth Rajkumar exploring the wilderness.

Gandhada Gudi, the film takes the audience on a spectacular visual tour as Puneeth Rajkumar traverses through rocky terrains, trekking through dense forests and exploring the depth of the underwater. Although there have been speculations surrounding the release of the docu-drama on the OTT platform, Ashwini is yet to make an announcement.

Over the last month, at least 80 holidaymakers had their cars stolen after paying for a meet-and-greet service at Heathrow Airport, it has been reported. Travellers who paid up to £145 to Heathrow valet company Terminal Universal reported that the company’s phones were disconnected and their vehicles had gone missing.

“There was nothing we could do,” said one victim, Joanne Greedy, 39, of Cardiff.

She told The Sun: “So in the end we paid £100 for a train home.”

The Met Police have discovered 70 stolen cars, some of which were discovered in a field in Chertsey, Surrey, about 15 miles from the airport.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and later released pending further investigation.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Detectives based at Heathrow Airport are investigating a number of reports of stolen vehicles linked to a meet and greet parking service which operated from the airport.

“Over the last month, police have received around 80 separate reports of vehicles, which had been left in the care of the meet and greet company but had not been returned.

“Around 70 of these vehicles have been recovered and work is underway to return them to their owners.

“Enquiries into the circumstances continue, including locating any remaining vehicles.”

According to reports, the travellers placed their cars in the hands of an outside valet business that works out of the airport, but their cars were never picked up.

Some of them were discovered in a field 15 miles away in Chertsey, Surrey. As officers carry out their investigation into the thefts, officers are trying to return recovered vehicles to their owners.

There is no public contact information or a website for Terminal Universal Ltd. The government’s Companies House database also shows that the company has been “dissolved.”

Several alleged victims have claimed on Facebook that they reserved the valet service through the internet booking firm Ezybook.

There are authorised meet-and-greet providers at Heathrow Airport, and visitors are advised to use them.

Customers who choose to use third-party valet services should check Trustpilot or other trustworthy review sites for positive reviews, make sure the company has complete, clear contact information – not just a mobile phone number – listed on its website, have a Companies House number, VAT number, and registered company address on their website, and have the Trading Standards’ Buy With Confidence accreditation.

EXCLUSIVE: Anonymous Content has closed a first-look deal with Theresa Park ’s film and TV banner Per Capita Productions .

Park’s Per Capita Productions is focused an auteur-driven, independent films, primarily based on literary material.

Most recently, Park produced Luca Guadagnino’s Bones and All starring Timothée Chalamet, Taylor Russell and Mark Rylance. The movie has been nominated for 2023 Independent Spirit Awards for Best Feature Film, Best Lead Performance and Best Supporting Performance; received two acting nominations from the Gotham Awards; and won the Silver Lion at Venice for Best Director; and Best New Talent for Russell. Bones and All was financed by The Apartment Pictures and produced by that studio’s Lorenzo Mieli as well.

Park also produced the film After Yang with Cinereach for A24, starring Colin Farrell, Jodie Turner-Smith and Justin Min, adapted by writer-director Kogonada from Alexander Weinstein’s short story Saying Goodbye to Yang . The pic premiered worldwide in Un Certain Regard at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. It won the Alfred P. WAUKESHA, WI — The 350-foot toboggan run at Waukesha’s Lowell Park is set to open on Saturday after weather forced delays during the city’s 2023 JanBoree , the city announced Monday.

Those looking to get the thrill and speed offered by the slide are required to sign waivers and register ahead of time, according to the city’s website. Each toboggan costs $10 and can support up to four people.

You can find the huge slide, which is open on Saturdays only from 1-4 p.m. until the last Saturday of February, at 2201 Michigan Avenue, according to the city’s website. Only 15 toboggans are available every 45 minutes.

You can reserve a space online through the city. Reservations for each Saturday need to be made by the following Wednesday at noon, according to the city website.

Riders have to be 48 inches or taller and children under 11 must be with an adult, according to the city’s website.
