Eden Hazard’s only transfer offer revealed as details of ex-Chelsea star’s generous Real Madrid gesture emerge

EDEN HAZARD has limited options after having his contract terminated by Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

Hazard eclipsed Gareth Bale as Los Blancos’ record signing when he signed from Chelsea for an initial £88.3million in 2019.

His stay in Madrid was miserable however, with injury and form struggles meaning he was never able to justify his lofty price tag.

The forward made just 76 appearances for Madrid, scoring seven and assisting 12 times.

The forward did not complete a 90 minute game this season and appeared just six times in the league.

And according to Marca , the Belgian only has one club interested in his services – the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS .

The outlet reports that he is weighing up the move against retiring from the game at the age of 32.

They also revealed details of his exit from Madri d which was confirmed last week .

Hazard’s contract was due to run out next summer but an agreement was reached between all parties to let the Belgian become a free agent.

Hazard offered to leave without a compensation package for the final year of his deal but Madrid paid a third of his remaining £20m-a-year deal.

The Belgian would join a Vancouver team halfway through the MLS season if he were to leave this summer.

The Canadian side are currently sitting in the MLS final series places with the club in sixth.

Hazard would become the most high-profile player to ply his trade for Vancouver since local boy Alphonso Davies left in 2018.

According to reports in Canada , the Whitecaps are struggling to attract fans and have the fourth worst attendance in the MLS.

The public paired up the stars of the show on Monday, and Catherine ended up with Andre, but later kissed Tyrique Hyde during a challenge and the two seemed to hit it off.

On Wednesday’s instalment of the ITV favourite, Andre ended up on a date with Whitney Adebayo.

Catherine admitted she was “intrigued” about whether the pair had hit it off, leading some fans to speculate she has a case of the green-eyed monster.

Twitter user @Bb_goldenB penned: “Is it just me or I don’t see chemistry btw Zach and Cath yet. Mahindra makes foray into dual-fuel small commercial vehicle segment with Supro CNG Duo

Synopsis

The company is rolling out the model from its Chakan plant in Maharashtra. Commenting on the launch, M&M President – Automotive Division Veejay Nakra said the Supro CNG Duo marks the company’s entry into the dual-fuel segment, in order to offer remarkably low operating costs to its owners and operators.

Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday said it has entered the dual-fuel segment in the small commercial vehicle space with the launch of Supro CNG Duo priced at Rs 6.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The model can run on both CNG and petrol.

It comes with a payload capacity of 750 kg and a range of 325 km with a CNG tank capacity of 75 litres. It also comes with a five-litre petrol tank to take care of range anxiety issues.

In an interaction with PTI, Mahindra & Mahindra VP and National Sales Head Baneswar Banerjee said the product would cater to various segments including market load operators with fixed routes.

With the range of over 325 km, the vehicle can also be used for intercity travel as well, he said.

“From the demand side, the CNG segment has grown four times in four years. That clearly establishes the need for CNG and if we look at its contribution in the less than 2 tonne category, the CNG sales now account for around 5,000 units from a total of 16,000 units per month,” Banerjee stated.

The company is confident of corning a sizable market share in the segment with Supro CNG Duo, he added.

Commenting on the launch, M&M President – Automotive Division Veejay Nakra said the Supro CNG Duo marks the company’s entry into the dual-fuel segment, in order to offer remarkably low operating costs to its owners and operators.

“It is engineered to deliver on the tough demands of the logistics, supply chains and e-commerce companies, while offering a vastly superior value proposition to customers,” he added.

The Supro CNG Duo comes with a 20.01 kW (27BHP) BS6 RDE compliant engine, providing 60 Nm torque and best-in-class mileage of 23.35 km/kg, the company said.

Amandine Henry recalled to France squad by Herve Renard ahead of Women’s World Cup

AMANDINE HENRY  has been recalled to France’s national side after an absence of two years.

The former Le Bleues skipper, 33, has been included in Herve Renard’s provisional squad before the start of the Women’s World Cup in July.

The midfielder’s inclusion follows her switch from Lyon to US top tier side Angel City this month after a 14-year spell at the club.

Following his squad announcement, Renard, 54, told reporters: “Having her (in the group) was one of my main intentions.

“With her little problem with Lyon, now resolved, we helped her along a lot so that she would be available for the preparation for the World Cup.”

Renard’s 26-strong squad currently includes five WSL aces with Aston Villa’s Kenza Dali, Chelsea defender Eve Perisset and West Ham forward Viviane Asseyi all named.

Manchester United’s Aissatou Tounkara and Estelle Cascarino have also been called up.

However Irons centre-back Hawa Cissoko misses out ten months after being included in the squad before last summer’s Euros.

And the team will be without the services of Paris-Saint Germain striker Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Lyon’s Delphine Cascarino due to thigh and ACL injuries.

Henry’s return comes nearly three years after the midfielder described the atmosphere under former gaffer Corinne Diacre during the 2019 World Cup as “total chaos”

The France star, who has won 12 top-flight titles and seven Champions League medals with her squad, was left out of Diacre’s squad before last year’s Euros.

The ex-France boss was fired in March after a number of players announced their intend to stand down from international duty.

National captain Wendi Renard, forward Kadidiatou Diani and Katoto were among the players who had temporarily stood  down.

In an interview with French outlet Telefoot Diani said it was important for team-mates to have “something new”.

France will begin their campaign to win the World Cup with a Group D opening fixture against Jamaica at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Australia on July 23.

It will see Renard’s side, currently ranked the fifth best in the world, play their first game in a major tournament under their new boss.

Henry’s return to the side comes ahead of France’s pre-World Cup friendly fixtures against the Republic of Ireland and Australia on the 6th and 14th of July.

Their clash with the former could see Henry, who has 93 senior international caps, return to match action for France for the first time since December 2020.

A MANCHESTER UNITED star is trying to persuade Neymar to join the club, according to reports.

SunSport revealed the Red Devils will line up a sensational move for the Brazilian should the Qatari takeover bid prove successful.

Now L’Equipe claim talks have taken place between the Old Trafford club and Paris Saint-Germain over the possible blockbuster transfer.
