The video shows the combined work of Ukraine’s 92nd, 40th and 27th Brigades operating a sneak attack agains the invading force.

Both Ukrainian military brigades worked together to locate and find Russia’s military equipment before destroying it.

The images show Ukrainian forces using heavy artillery to obliterate Russia’s equipment accompanied by the sound of loud blasts.

The ongoing Russian onslaught on Ukraine has been going on for well over four months now, and Ukrainian forces are doing their best to push back against Russian aggression.

The dramatic footage shows the first shot hit the heavy artillery causing the Russian equipment to explode like a firework.

Particles of shrapnel continue to fly up into the air leaving outlines of white smoke as the particles fall to the ground.

A big ball of fire can be seen erupting from the target, followed by a cloud of thick grey smoke which continues to pillar up into the sky.

Users on social media have been reacting to the footage released by Ukraine’s military forces.

One Twitter user @MichalNiebly said: “This how missiles explode – white smoke, firework-style burning chunks. It was most likely a rocket launcher (Grad/Uragan or even a SAM), or a stockpile of rockets.”

@123Kevak said: “Agree, sort of, But with the amount of missiles thrown out I’m leaning more towards a TOS-1 or a supply truck.”

Brigadier Chris King, from 104 Logistic Support Brigade, said: “It changed over Easter when we saw the massacres in Bucha.

“You see the scenes and you feel that you want to help. It is a generational moment.

“We either help Ukraine to fight or we accept that maybe not straight away, but in the next few years, we are going to be fighting somewhere else.

“If we don’t do enough, we will sow the seeds of future conflicts.

“We are planning into the years to come.

“I don’t think it is going to be over quickly. But how the conflict evolves is too early to tell.

“As we saw in 2014, it never really stopped.

“We have got to get to a position where we sustain Ukraine otherwise we might have to do it somewhere else.”

The shopping centre in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk was destroyed in a Russian missile strike which is reported to have struck while thousands were inside the complex. First responders have been searching the rubble, while authorities in Ukraine say 36 people are still missing with at least 18 confirmed killed.

Sky News’s Sally Lockwood reported: “Rescuers are continuing the search through the rubble here of the shopping centre which is completely destroyed.

“I mean there’s really absolutely nothing left of it virtually actually the entire depth of the building is completely burned out after that huge fire that followed the missile strike yesterday and rescuers have been working through the night clearing debris to see if they can recover anyone trapped underneath.

“I spoke to one of the rescuers a little earlier and she said that they’re not hopeful of finding anyone alive at this stage and that it does feel more like a recovery operation rather than a rescue operation now.

“But certainly a very grim attack indeed, to have happened on this central Ukrainian city just before four o’clock in the afternoon yesterday, a busy time with lots of people shopping here.

“Lots of families at the supermarket.

“And of course, this is just the latest in a run of attacks on civilian targets.

“The Russians claim they’re not targeting civilian areas, but certainly these continued these attacks continue to happen.”

The attack, in the central city of Kremenchuk far from any frontline, drew a wave of global condemnation.

Ukraine said Moscow had killed civilians deliberately.

Russia said it had struck an arms depot and falsely claimed the mall was empty.

At a summit in Germany, leaders of the G7 industrialised democracies announced plans to pursue a price cap on Russian oil, a new strategy designed to starve Russia of the resources for war without worsening a global economic crisis.

Relatives of the missing in Kremenchuk were lined up on Tuesday at a hotel across the street from the wreckage of the shopping centre, where rescue workers had set up a base.

The popular devices can record and send live video footage to the homeowner when someone approaches their property or rings the bell. Just last week, footage from a smart doorbell in Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset, proved crucial to the murder conviction of Collin Reeves. Reeves was sentenced to a minimum of 38 years in prison last Tuesday for killing his neighbours Jennifer and Stephen Chapple. This is just the latest example of how this kind of evidence is becoming crucial to police and investigators when solving crimes.

Dave Tucker, faculty lead at the National College of Policing, told The Telegraph: “The reach of digital evidence is massive.”

He added that smart doorbells are a “potential source of evidence quite similar to CCTV”.

The household device is becoming so critical that a digital intelligence training module called Operation Modify has been introduced to teach police how to use the footage for a conviction.

Mr Tucker said a few years ago “we wouldn’t have thought about digital doorbells”, but in the 18 months since this form of digital intelligence was added to the curriculum, the force has become “very proud of it”.

Last week, it emerged that police failed to solve a single burglary in nearly half of Britain’s neighbourhoods over the past three years.

But, with the introduction of smart doorbells, this could be a turning point as many believe the devices act as a deterrent to burglars.

Ring, the market leader, was sold to Amazon in 2018 for more than £800m.

Their doorbells range in price, with some costing £89.99, compared with upwards of £129.99 for a Google Nest.

Ring’s subscription plans are setting users back an extra £2.50 or £8 per month depending on what plan they go for.

Both options allow users to save video data for 30 days, with the homeowner being able to view the footage via a smartphone app.

Doorbell footage also helped to convict PC Wayne Couzens for the murder of Sarah Everard in 2021 as police pieced together her last moments using bus dashcam footage and street CCTV after connecting the sighting.

Despite acting as evidence in many crimes, there has been debate around privacy issues.

Operating your own home surveillance may be done with good intentions, but homeowners have been advised about placement.

Positioning your smart doorbell so that it includes a neighbouring property in the detection zone could easily identify a person’s car registration, appearance or individual attributes which they do not consent to being recorded and stored as footage.

In October last year, a judge ruled that a man’s smart doorbell camera invaded his neighbour’s privacy.

Appearing on BBC’s Morning Live in January, Matt Allwright, who is known for presenting shows such as Watchdog, investigated smart doorbells and how they must be placed.

Speaking to security expert Ken Munroe, the expert explained how Britons can prevent invading other people’s privacy.

He said: “First of all, where are you pointing it and what’s in the background? Are you inadvertently filming your next door neighbour’s bathroom without realising? Most CCTV cameras now allow you to block out areas.”

Mr Allwright added: “Look in your camera’s settings for privacy filter or privacy mask and select the areas you don’t want to record.”

Homeowners can control where the picture is pointed but the audio may still be able to pick up conversations from afar.

In April, Prince Harry sparked controversy during an interview with NBC Today by claiming that he wants to ensure that his grandmother, the Queen , is “protected” and has the “right people around her”. The interview “really did upset” the 96-year-old monarch and the “slap in the face” interview is reportedly a reason behind Prince William and Kate ‘s “rushed” move to Windsor. Speaking on the latest episode on his YouTube channel, Neil Sean discussed William and Kate’s upcoming move.

Mr Sean claimed: “Our gracious Majesty The Queen, as ever we have to say allegedly, is very very sensitive to people speaking out, you know, when they’ve had a private conversation with her.

“It’s not the done thing, it’s not protocol.”

Following Harry’s controversial interview, Mr Sean said: “[and] that’s truly the reason why, very quickly and very astutely, it was announced that both Catherine and William would now be living very soon on the Windsor Estate to keep a watchful eye on our 96-year-old monarch.”

He added: “There’s a big background to this, so do let me explain, this [Harry’s interview] really really did upset Her Majesty.

“She felt, of course, that this was a bit of a slap in the face to all the people that have truly looked after her and her family, and of course, her working team around her during the pandemic.”

Mr Sean added: “Of course, now, she would like to see more of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge so it makes perfect sense.

“They would also like to make sure that their children are brought up more in the countryside rather than slap-bang centre of town.”

He stated that if Harry “hadn’t spoken out so quickly” and been in a “rush to get on international television”, then the Cambridges move “could have come at a slightly later time”.

The interview came at the same time as he attended the Invictus Games.

Prior to landing in The Hague, Harry and Meghan made a UK pitstop to visit the Queen.

Speaking of the visit, Harry told Hoda Kotb that he and Meghan “had tea” with the Queen.

He added that, at the time, the monarch was in “great form” after her bout of Covid.

It was reported that the Cambridges had set their sights on new home Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

One royal insider told the Daily Mail that the reason for the relocation was due to William wanting to be closer to the Queen as she continues to delegate additional royal duties to him.

The Cambridges, and their three children, currently live at Kensington Palace.

He said: “This is the sixth time the city has been bombed.

Local civilians have gathered outside a hotel near the shopping centre to register the names of those missing.

According to the Ukrainian prosecutor general, around 40 people have been reported missing so far.

An air raid siren did go off and as a result some retail workers went into a nearby basement during the missile strike.

However, one worker, Roman, asking to be identified only by his first name, told Reuters that many decided to stay inside the shopping centre.

The shopping centre’s management had decided only a few days ago to allow shops to remain open during air raid sirens.

As the war has largely moved to eastern Ukraine people in other parts of the country have stopped reacting the air raid sirens with the same urgency compared to the start of the war in February.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attack as a “calculated Russian strike” in his evening video address.

Mr Zelensky said around 1,000 people had been in the shopping centre at the time of the attack and the death toll could rise.
