L.A. Rams Star Cooper Kupp Lists Off-Season Oregon Home With Training Facility For $3.5 Million

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is selling his 4-acre Oregon home and personal training facility for $3.5 million. Kupp is ready to part with the property outside Portland, where he trained hard and went on to be named most valuable player in the 2022 Super Bowl.

Kupp, 30, lives with his wife, Anna, and three young sons in the gated home with five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The indoor athletic training facility—a.k.a. “the barn”—became one of the property’s most coveted spaces for the NFL champ.

“Our family made a lot of incredible memories in that home but, man, that barn really is special,” Kupp said in an email. “I did the majority of my off-season prep there in the lead-up to our Super Bowl season. Also, and maybe, more importantly, I got to make memories with my family running around and playing on that turf. We’ll never forget it.”

The 4,600-square-foot space is covered with indoor turf and equipped with lighting, speakers and two bay doors with net enclosures to keep balls from going astray. Retractable basketball hoops are installed at either end. The adaptable space could be used equally for sporting workouts or entertaining.

“We were very intentional in outfitting the barn to make it the best performance center that we could, and I think that work shows,” Kupp said. “I’m going to miss the early morning work in that barn.”

Kupp’s estate is located at 29989 SW 35th Drive in Wilsonville, a small town in the Willamette Valley known for vineyards and produce farms. It features a main house, private one-bedroom guest house and the training barn in a forested setting.

“I think that it’s important to stay rooted in nature,” Kupp said. “There’s something about taking a walk in tall grass, hiking while surrounded by trees or even just planting your feet in the ground that centers your body and mind. That’s an element of the house that we truly enjoyed.”

The home, which has gables reminiscent of Gothic Revival style, features a large circular driveway and entryway leading into a two-story foyer. Inside is a wood-paneled office with gas fireplace on one side and traditional living room on the other.

Large picture windows keep the home filled with light and accent views of the outdoors fountain and lawn. The main level includes a formal dining room with coffered ceiling and chandeliers, and kitchen with two Miele dishwashers, a pull-out utensil pantry, prep sink, Sub-Zero refrigerator and other amenities.

The far wing of the main floor houses the primary bedroom suite, which has sliding doors that lead to a private outdoor patio. The en suite bathroom features heated marble floors, a soaking tub and oversized glass shower. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and two others with a shared bathroom.

The house also has a bonus room over a three-car garage with enough space for a pool table, ping pong table, game table and seating area. There’s also a second laundry room and mudroom downstairs. The guest house and four-car garage (adapted to a home gym) are located across the motor court.

Last year, Kupp sold his 6,893-square-foot Southern California home in Westlake Village with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms for $5.25 million.

Kupp, a native of Yakima, Washington, comes from a football family. His father, Craig Kupp, was an NFL quarterback, and his grandfather, Jake Kupp, was an offensive NFL lineman from 1964 to 1975, according to nfl.com .

Kupp has had many magical moments on and off the field. “I’m most proud of the memories I’ve gotten to make with my teammates on the field, and the family I’ve gotten to build with my wife, Anna, off of it,” he said. “My journey has truly been blessed.”

The listing agent is Oregon-based Kendra Ratcliff of LUXE .

Kanye ‘married’ Yeezy architect Bianca Censori, 28, in January 2023; they did not file a marriage certificate so the union is not considered legal.

The time of the romance is also unclear, but Bianca has been employed by Kanye’s Yeezy brand since joining the company in November 2020.

She is listed as Head of Architecture and secured the position after reportedly obtaining a Master’s in Building Design at Melbourne University in Australia.

Colin Kaepernick compared NFL to slavery, now he wants to play for the Jets. Is he nuts?

Jen Hale gives football fans a sneak peek into the NFL’s top week 3 matchups

‘NFL on FOX’ sideline reporter Jen Hale joined ‘Fox & Friends Weekend’ to preview week three’s top matchups as fans gear up for an exciting slate.

NEW You can now listen to Fox News articles!

It’s been seven years and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is still begging the league to pass. And that’s exactly what they are going to do… pass on his return.

Even Google admits he’s just an “American civil rights activist,” not a quarterback. Not anymore. The perennial whiner had a subpar season in 2015 and ended it injured. He made his mark in the 2016 preseason refusing to stand for the national anthem during the game against Green Bay.

That’s when he proceeded to slam the nation that also made him a millionaire. “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color,” he said after the game. He went from sitting to kneeling and created a fracture between the league and its fans as other players joined in.

COLIN KAEPERNICK WRITES TO JETS ASKING TO JOIN TEAM IN ‘RISK-FREE CONTINGENCY PLAN,’ CALLS HIMSELF ‘ELITE QB’

That was the first of many stupid plays he made – bashing America and the NFL. He depicted police as pigs and even slammed his adoptive parents. Nope, not joking. The quarterback, who went from Super Bowl to super woke, claimed his parents had been perpetuating “racism.” He was upset that they didn’t like his cornrow hairstyle.

49ers players kneel for the anthem

Yep, his parents didn’t like his hair because that generational battle never happens to anyone else. Then he publicly attacked them years later. Classy. The athlete/ingrate had a similar reaction to the NFL which gave him a net worth of $20 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

In a documentary, Kaepernick angrily declared that the NFL draft was like slavery: “Before they put you on the field, teams poke, prod, and examine you searching for any defect that might affect your performance.” As he says this, actors in the background step out of an NFL scene where they are being analyzed and walk into another that morphs into an 1800s slave auction.

NFL legend Mike Haynes talks Deion Sanders' impact at Colorado Video

That’s the institution that Kaepernick wants to rejoin as “an elite QB option” and he’s ready to do it in a New York minute. Because these days he’s on the sidelines of the so-called civil rights movement and can’t even make the practice squad of a team that lost its starting quarterback four plays into this season.

COLIN KAEPERNICK’S AGENT TELLS JETS QB IS INTERESTED IN NFL COMEBACK AFTER AARON RODGERS’ INJURY: REPORT

Kaepernick didn’t just go woke after he left the NFL, he spiked the ball. He started a publishing operation and released a book, titled “Abolition for The People: The Movement For A Future Without Policing & Prisons.” Don’t just defund what he called the “white supremacist institution” of policing, but defund prisons. You have to be nice to all those rapists and murderers.

Make-A-Wish recipient Kyle Stickles meets Jets draft pick he announced Video

Then there’s his blasting the Betsy Ross flag and giving a memorably anti-American Fourth of July message on Twitter. He blamed the nation, saying “Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of ‘independence’, while you enslaved our ancestors.” Then he added: “We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all.”

As long as it comes with a hefty NFL salary for Kaepernick.

Now, he is either in a New York state of mind or just continuing his social-justice grift and wants attention. He released a formal letter asking for the Jets to sign him to their practice squad and give him another chance… seven years after playing.

Just in May, he was bashing the league once more because he hasn’t “seen any substantial change” since it wouldn’t hire him for a return of the Over The Hill Gang. “Obviously, not playing and being out of the NFL for six years is an indictment on where they are currently at,” he said.

Kaepernick just exchanged one sport for another: Greg Gutfeld Video

Kaepernick, who turns 36 in November, is a tangible reminder of how the NFL relies on instant replay. Just usually the tale of the tape happens soon after the play, not every season. Even the desperate New York football team doesn’t need the drama he would bring.

The former 49ers star inhabits a unique space in American culture. The media love him for his anti-American, anti-police diatribes. CBS journalist James Brown depicted him as a “bridge builder.” And sports “journalists” regularly harangue the league pushing to get him a job.

Atlantic contributing writer Jemele Hill was promoting Kaepernick as soon as Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers got hurt. “There’s a QB right there in New Jersey who took a team to a Super Bowl and a NFC championship game. Rhymes with Happernick,” she explained on X, which used to be called Twitter.

Colin Kaepernick watches the Raptors

The NFL and, especially, the fans are more than happy to have him benched forever. And other players, who once embraced his radical agenda, realized it ticked off the people who made them rich.

The sport has plenty of prominent Black stars at the very position Kaepernick once played. Fourteen Black QBs started week one this year, according to CBS Sports. Both Super Bowl quarterbacks this past season were Black, only they didn’t spend their time protesting. They made their marks praising the Lord.

That’s why Kaepernick’s latest stunt will lead to another incompletion. The league doesn’t want him. No team would welcome the distractions he would cause. And fans won’t forgive what he did any more than they will forget it.

Why should they?

Formula 1 reverses social media gains amid lack of title fight

September 28, 2023 by www.motorsport.com Leave a Comment

Analysis by Buzz Radar, a social intelligence company, of social media patterns for the last decade has highlighted how the 2023 campaign has triggered a dramatic U-turn in F1’s impressive growth in recent years.

In a case study published on Thursday, titled Have we reached Peak F1? , Buzz Radar’s analysis suggested that the boom of 2022 – boosted by the dramatic 2021 title fight and new car rules – may well mark a high point of interest in F1 for a while.

Having used a combination of human analysis and AI data to look at F1 on social media over the past decade, which included analysis of 70 million fan posts, it found that the championship had suffered its first decline of interest in a while.

Its data suggests that social media mentions of F1 were down 70.2% in the first five months of this year compared to the same period in 2022, with new followers down 46.29% and social reach down 64.10%.

The figures for January to May for the past three years are:

2021 2022 2023
Mentions 3.19m 6.14m 1.83m
New Followers 624.27k 911.15k 489.37k
Social Reach 35.63bn 61.73bn 22.16bn

In the report, Buzz Radar concluded: “The data comparison between 2022 and 2023 revealed significant drops in the overall mentions of F1, along with dismal numbers in the growth of new followers of high-profile accounts.

“The reach of F1-related content across various social platforms has also receded, in stark contrast to the steady progress observed yearly before. But, the declining numbers are only one part of the story.

“The social data from 2023 also offered insight into a fundamental shift in conversation about F1: a noticeable upswing in the use of negative adjectives associated with the sport.

“Words like ‘boring’ and ‘annoying’ are now becoming high-frequency descriptors, replacing erstwhile positive words like ‘interesting’ and ‘exciting’.”

The Buzz Radar report believes that the cause of such a drop-off is simply single-team domination, with Red Bull having won all but two races over the past 12 months.

It believes that there is a direct correlation between the closeness of an F1 title fight and how much that entices fans to get engaged – as F1 last had such a drop-off in 2018 when Lewis Hamilton roared to the title.

“2016 was the most talked about season, until 2021, despite all the contributory factors of the Liberty takeover, Drive to Survive , and lockdown, because [Nico] Rosberg and Hamilton were battling closely,” it noted.

“The season was decided by only five points. Conversation stagnated between 2018-2020 while Hamilton dominated, and grew significantly again during the 2021 season; the closest championship since 2016.

“Both 2016 and 2021 seasons were decided at the last race. 2022 continued to ride the wave of the close competition at the end of 2021, but now we are seeing the result of one driver dominance once again. 2023 is now on course to continue losing conversation, and this pattern will continue until the racing becomes closer again.”

But while the social media figures for 2023 are far from ideal, the Buzz Radar report does acknowledge that F1 has been hugely impressive in the way it has grown its audience figures over the past decade.

Compared to other leading sports, it is amongst the best – and that is despite there being just 23 events per year.

“Between 2016 and 2022, F1 grew its conversation levels by 80%, which was only bettered by the Indian Premier League (208% increase) and the UEFA Champions League (up 112%),” added the whitepaper.

“Remarkably, F1 managed this despite hosting the fewest events of the top five, with 2022 conversation coming from just 22 race weekends compared to 285 NFL matches, including the Super Bowl which, year on year, is one of the most talked about sporting events in the world.

“The only year that growth slowed was in 2018, and the biggest growth was in 2021, when they gained around 14 million new cross-channel followers. This makes them the fastest-growing social channels of any major sport in the time period.”

Paige: Broncos are ready to do battle in Seattle

September 20, 2014 by www.denverpost.com Leave a Comment

SEATTLE — On April 8, 1862, Robert Ette, a Civil War correspondent for The Memphis (Tenn.) Daily Appeal, filed, by telegraph, this dispatch from the Battle of Shiloh: “We slept last night in the enemy’s camp.”

Seattle — I have slept, apprehensively, the last three nights in the enemy’s camp.

And the locals are anxious.

The Re-Battle With Seattle is about to begin.

Super Bowl XLVIII½, as such.

The Broncos have marched into the Pacific Northwest, where they have won the most road games against a team not located in California or Missouri. Football historians will recall that the Seattle Seahawks played in the AFC West with the Broncos, Raiders, Chargers and Chiefs from 1977-2001. The Broncos compiled a 32-17 regular-season record — 12-13 in Seattle — against the Seahawks during that span.

The Seahawks own two postseason victories over the Broncos — one here in 1983 (31-7) when rookie quarterback John Elway came off the bench for his first playoff game, and the second last February when Seattle edged Denver 43-8 with Elway as the Broncos’ executive vice president.

“The Broncos are horse meat,” a fishmonger tossing salmon at the famed Pike Place Fish Market said Saturday.

“You know the Broncos want revenge,” a 12th woman at the downtown hotel said Saturday. Yes, we know. “And we got beat in San Diego.”

Then she added: “I think we only win by 21 points this time.”

However, the Broncos’ ex-offensive coordinator, Chargers coach Mike McCoy, supposedly gave the NFL, and specifically the Broncos, a “blueprint” for defeating the Seahawks. He has trained Philip Rivers to become Peyton Manning Lite by dinking and dunking (no pass gains over 21 yards against Seattle), and San Diego attacked a depleted defense by throwing to tight end Antonio “Methuselah” Gates (three touchdown receptions).

The Broncos have an orangeprint. They bring Manning and tight end Julius Thomas, who grabbed four touchdown passes in two games. Seattle strong safety Kam Chancellor told Seahawks.com that Thomas is “more a finesse player” than Gates and “is faster.” Chancellor, with a gimpy ankle, and outside linebacker K.J. Wright will be tasked with taking on “The Other” Thomas.

In the Super Bowl, Manning targeted Julius only six times — and connected on four for a pedestrian 27 yards.

The Seahawks’ defensive philosophy is to allow receivers to catch short passes, then make the tackles. Problem is, Gates got behind and away from the defenders in the red zone, and Thomas can do it, too. Manning will have to rely on Julius Thomas more, in fact, than Demaryius Thomas. And unlike in the Super Bowl, the Broncos now have Emmanuel Sanders, who can stretch the Seahawks.

Seattle has its starting secondary, including Richard Sherman, intact, but two backups defected, and three others have been injured. There is thinness there. Nickelback Marcus Burley is a raw rookie undrafted free agent. Manning will cut that meat. Upon his return, crossing slot receiver Wes Welker will treat Burley as poorly as a customer on the phone with a cable TV rep.

Manning’s double-bubble screens will keep the Seahawks honest.

The Seahawks’ vaunted defense really won’t be the Broncos’ most threatening concern. The Seattle offense will be. The Seahawks have averaged 30 points a game in their last nine regular-season home games.

This is where the Broncos’ renovated defense (eight different starters from the Super Bowl) with the DeMarcus Ware, T.J. Ward, Aqib Talib trifecta must come in. The defense doesn’t have to be extraordinary, but can’t be ordinary as it was against the Colts, Chiefs and these Seahawks.

Speaking of meat, Tom Kuntz, retired owner of a meat distribution company and a typical 12th man in a Seahawks T-shirt, said of the game: “The Broncos are very good, but we are world champs, and they aren’t. Two words: Percy Harvin.” The PH Factor was pivotal in the Super Bowl. Harvin ran twice for 45 yards and returned a kickoff for an 87-yard touchdown.

In the Battle of Shiloh, the home team got the first-half lead but eventually lost to the visitors.

The Denver Post correspondent’s dispatch, filed, by wireless on Sept. 20, 2014, from the enemy’s camp is:

“Broncos silence Seattle 27-24.”
