Malayalam cinema is known for its quality films. The names of actors Suraj Venjaramoodu and Basil Joseph often come to the forefront in this regard. Another comedy entertainer featuring both of them is all set to make the audience laugh. The duo will be seen sharing screen space for the film Enkilum Chandrike. The trailer of the film was released recently and it created a huge buzz. The trailer starts with Basil, Suraj and their group of friends lamenting about one of their friends getting married, but not informing them of the news. As they try to figure out the cause behind it, the soon-to-be groom starts preparations in full swing with his bride and the first thing they do is a vibrant photoshoot. The bride doesn’t seem to be as enthusiastic as the groom.

Enkilum Chandrike promises to be a laughter riot. The trailer has already crossed a million views on YouTube.

The film is produced by Vijay Babu, under the Friday Film House Banner. The collaboration between him, Suraj and Basil was announced last year. It is directed by debutant Adithyan Chandrasekhar and written by Vijay in collaboration with Arjun Narayanan. Adithyan became popular as the creator of renowned web shows Average Ambili and Rock, Paper, Scissors. The movie is co-produced by Ann Augustine and Vivek Thomas, and the cast will also feature Saiju Kurup, Niranjana Anoop and Tanvi Ram in prominent roles.

While Ajay Devgn awaits the release of Bholaa, the actor has begun shooting for his highly anticipated next Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha!. Helmed by Neeraj Pandey, the actor would be seen sharing screen space with Tabu and Jimmy Sheirgill. This will be Neeraj’s 6th directorial venture. The unique musical love story is an epic romantic drama spanning 20 years and is set between 2002 and 2023. The shooting will be extensively done in Mumbai.

Sharing a bundle of BTS pictures on his Instagram handle, Ajay wrote, “From the sets of #AuronMeinKahanDumTha with @neerajpofficial #ShootingBegins @tabutiful @jimmysheirgill.” The photos featured Ajay, Tabu and Jimmy sharing a moment with Neeraj. In the other pictures, Tabu was seen with the clapperboard. Fans are excited to see the trio, and have expressed their excitement in the comments section.

Speaking of Bholaa, the makers had dropped the second teaser from the film. The film, helmed by Devgn is the Hindi remake of the acclaimed Tamil hit ‘Kaithi’. Bholaa also stars Tabu in a pivotal role as a cop. The film also stars Gajraj Rao and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. Ajay recently revealed their character posters on social media. The film will also have cameo cameo appearances of Abhishek Bachchan and Amala Paul. The original film starred Karthi in the lead role, along with Narain, Arjun Das, Harish Uthaman, George Maryan and Dheena in pivotal roles.

The teaser gave a glimpse of the high-octane action sequences. The story revolves around a father trying to reunite with his daughter but only after battling all odds and overcoming a series of dangerous challenges.

Sharing the Bholaa teaser on Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan too praised the team: “T 4538 – UFFF! What a teaser! My admiration and the very best wishes to you Ajay.” Ajay Devgn too thanked the actor and said, “Thank you Amitabh Bachchan Sir. Need your blessings and good wishes always. Ajay.” Bholaa is all set to hit the theatres on March 30.

Tamil Star Jr NTR is now busy with his upcoming film NTR 30. Recently, Jr NTR attended the pre-release event of actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s nextfilm Amigos as the chief guest. Amigos, in which Kalyan Ram is playing a triple-role for the first time, will be released in theatres on February 10.

While addressing the audiences at the event, Jr NTR requested all his fans to stop clamouring for film updates, as it puts the filmmakers and producers under “a lot of pressure”.

At the event, when the fans started asking about the updates pertaining to Jr NTR’s next project, NTR 30, the actor said that such constant demands from fans force the directors to come up with film announcements that lack excitement.

“I am asking this as a small request. Honestly, there won’t be anything to tell while we are making a film. It’s very hard to give updates every day and every hour,” said Jr NTR.

“We understand your enthusiasm. But sometimes it puts a lot of pressure on producers and directors. They can’t reveal things for your excitement. Even if they come up with something, if you (fans) don’t like it, you end up trolling them. It’s not just me, others are also experiencing this pressure,” he added.

The 39-year-old actor further assured his admirers that whenever there’s a “solid” update regarding a film, the audience will be the first to know about it. “If there is some update, we will reveal it to you first…because you are most important to us. I am also speaking for other actors as well. We will give updates to you only if they are solid. Don’t put any pressure on producers by reading some news from somewhere. It’s my wish and a small request. Please don’t pressurise the producers for frequent updates,” urged the RRR actor.

On a concluding note, Jr NTR shared the updates on his forthcoming film, NTR 30 with the fans present at the event. He revealed, “On this occasion, I would like to tell you that NTR 30 will be launched in February and the regular shoot will commence in March. We will release the film on April 5, 2024.”

The film is helmed by Koratala Siva and other cast members of NTR 30 are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, speaking about Kalyan Ram’s Amigos, the film has been directed by Rajendra Reddy. Touted to be an action crime thriller, the film also stars Ashika Ranganath and Nithin Prasanna in important roles.
