Berger Rental Communities, based in Wayne, broke ground this week for high-end apartments in Kennett Square, Chester County.
KENNETT SQUARE —Berger Rental Communities broke Tuesday for luxury apartments in the 600 block of State Street, Kennett Square.
Kennett Square Apartment will consist of 166 apartments in two, four-level buildings totaling 160,000 square feet in historic downtown Kennett Square.
The apartments are expected to be ready in the spring of 2024.
“Breaking ground on Kennett Square Apartments is an extremely exciting opportunity for our company,” said Wayne Everett, Vice President of Acquisitions & Asset Management at Berger Rental Communities, Wayne.

Featured amenities will include a fitness center, work from home spaces, as well as community, media and DIY rooms.
An amenity deck with grilling stations, turf areas, and lounge seating will be available for residents in addition to 192 parking spaces, some with EV charging capabilities, in a basement level garage.
