Yatra Online shares to debut on Thursday. What GMP signals ahead of listing

Ahead of the issue opening, the company raised Rs 62 crore in pre-IPO placement via the rights issue. The Rs 775-crore IPO included a fresh equity issue worth Rs 602 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 1.21 crore shares. Analysts say the company is well-positioned to capture a significant share as India’s travel and tourism industry grows.

The shares of Yatra Online will debut on the exchanges on Thursday. Ahead of the listing, the grey market premium of the company is Rs 0 in the unlisted market, which indicates a flattish debut.

Backed by retail and QIB investors, the initial public offering of Yatra Online was subscribed 1.61 times.

The issue received bids of 4,98,92,430 shares against the offered 3,09,42,356 equity shares, at a price band of Rs 135-142.

Yatra Online offers a comprehensive range of travel and travel-related products and services catering to the needs of passengers traveling domestically, as well as traveling to and from international destinations.

The company provides customers with various tools and information that they need to research, plan, book, and purchase travel products and services in India as well as outside India.

Analysts say the company is well-positioned to capture a significant share as India’s travel and tourism industry grows.

With the growth in the tourism industry, they expect the online travel market share (OTA) to increase faster than captive players, improving the company’s profitability.

The Indian travel industry is expected to grow at a 9-11% CAGR during FY23-28 period to reach Rs 4.54 lakh crore in FY28, driven by the development of tourism infrastructure, rising income levels translating into higher discretionary spending on travel and tourism, and an increase in the frequency of travel for business and leisure purposes.

For the year ended March 2023, the company clocked revenue growth of 81% year-on-year to Rs 397 crore, while profit stood at Rs 7.6 crore compared with a loss of Rs 30.7 crore a year ago.

SBI Capital Markets, DAM Capital Advisors, and IIFL Securities acted as the book-running lead managers and Link Intime India was the registrar for the offer.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is making waves since launching on Steam earlier this month, earning rave reviews and posting big numbers on the Steam player charts. Fortunately, the Larian developed role-playing game is also coming to consoles, making its PS5 debut in early September. Indeed, the Baldur’s Gate 3 Digital Deluxe Edition has a September 2 release date, while the Standard Edition has a September 6 release date the PlayStation 5.

Even better is the news that Baldur’s Gate 3 can be pre-loaded ahead of launch, which means you can start playing as soon as the game goes live on PS5.

Customers who pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition can pre-load the game at 5pm BST UK time on August 31.

If you pre-order the Standard Edition on the PlayStation 5, you can pre-load the game at 5pm BST on September 4.

With the game weighing in at around 122GB on the PC, pre-loading is certainly recommended. Expect the PS5 file size to be revealed closer to launch.

Interest in the PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate 3 has grown since the game made its PC debut in early August.

In the weeks since launch, Baldur’s Gate 3 has racked up a hugely impressive 96% average score on Metacritic.

With a user score of 9.2, it’s currently the number one game of 2023, beating The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Journeys on public transport in Northern Ireland are still below pre-Covid levels.

Public transport usage in many countries has not fully recovered from the pandemic due to continued working from home.

Official figures showed there were there were 73.5m journeys on public transport in 2022/-23 compared to 83.4m in 2019-20.

Bus usage was 11% down while train journeys were 15% below the 2019 level.

Income from tickets sales in 2022-23 was just under £172m, down 5% compared to £181m in 2019-20.

Belfast Metro and Glider services still had almost 13% fewer journeys than before the pandemic while Ulsterbus journeys were down 10%.

Looking at the figures on a monthly basis suggested passenger numbers are still recovering.

There were 6.68m bus journeys in March 2023, up 13% on the same month in 2022 and the busiest month since December 2019.

There were 1.26m train journeys in March 2019, up 22% on the same month in 2022.

December 2022 was the busiest post-pandemic month with 1.39m journeys.
