, 58, is the daughter of the late and Antony Armstrong-Jones. On July 14, 1994, she walked down the aisle to marry Daniel Chatto, 65, at St Stephen Walbrook Church in the City of London.

The late Queen’s only niece wore a stunning Jasper Conran gown for her special day.

For her wedding dress (and the dresses of her bridesmaids), Lady Sarah turned to Jasper Conran, very much the in-demand society designer of the time.

She had three bridesmaids, rather than flower girls, as is often the case, who were made up of her cousin’s daughter , her half-sister Lady Frances Armstrong-Jones and her friend Tara Noble Singh.

Sarah’s timeless design was made from layers of ivory georgette fabric with a square-cut, corseted bodice and long sleeves.

Traditionally, the lent royal brides a diadem from her private collection for their wedding days.

But Lady Sarah opted to wear a brand new tiara which was made by Wartski, especially for the wedding.

The Snowdon Floral Tiara is comprised of several floral elements, and Sarah added a touch of foliage to it to complete the look.

While the Snowdon Floral Tiara was a new piece of jewellery, it had its links to the marriage of Sarah’s parents.

Antony had gifted Margaret three floral diamond brooches in 1960 to mark their wedding that year.

These brooches were amalgamated to create the stunning headwear their only daughter wore on her wedding day 34 years later.

Sarah’s decision to wear a new tiara on her big day was unusual for a , as most brides wear one of the Queen’s existing diadems for their foray down the aisle.

Sarah Ferguson also wore a new piece, the York Tiara, for her wedding day in 1986, which had been gifted to her by the Queen.

But modern brides like Kate Middleton and both picked royal tiaras steeped in history for their respective weddings.

The ceremony was famously brief, lasting just a mere 30 minutes.

The couple’s driver was reportedly caught off guard when they left the church, leaving them to stand there waiting for a while.

The party headed to the late Queen Mother’s residence, Clarence House, for the reception.

The couple spent their honeymoon in , the place where they first met. They now have two sons together, Samuel, born in 1996, and Arthur, born in 1999.

She’s one of the more low-key members of the Royal Family, who doesn’t undertake any royal duties, so it is unsurprising that Lady Sarah’s 1994 nuptials to Daniel were on a more reduced scale than the royal weddings of some of her peers.

Sarah met her husband-to-be in 1983, while both were working on the set of the film Heat and Dust, yet they would not start dating until three years later.

It was in 1986 that they first started to be photographed at gallery openings and other art world events together, announcing their engagement in 1994.

Sarah Lancashire worked in secret to prepare a ‘special gift’ for the cast of Happy Valley after the the police drama’s fiery series finale .

In the final hour, Ryan (Rhys Connah) came clean about Tommy ’s (James Norton) plans, and Faisal (Amit Shah) was exposed as Joanna’s (Mollie Winnard) killer.

Then, Tommy and Catherine (Lancashire) confronted each other in her abandoned home, with Tommy having just taken a lethal dose of pills and alcohol.

After confessing to loving Becky (Emily Barnett), Tommy says he has decided not to murder Catherine because of how she has raised his son, Ryan.

Instead, he douses himself with petrol and sets himself alight, eventually dying of his injuries, with Catherine unable to stop him from doing so.

After the finale, Lancashire, 58, worked with a Hebden Bridge-based Yorkshire Soap Company to create a special Happy Valley candle.

Created with the actress’ help, the candle also includes an inscribed quote from the series: ‘I’m the best copper that ever lived, but Code 11, job done.’

Hebden Bridge is the home of the BBC police drama, with the series based in the market town and filmed across the rest of the county.

In a statement, the Yorkshire Soap Company said: ‘We had the pleasure of welcoming the amazing Sarah Lancashire into our shop in the summer of 2022.’

‘We worked together on a special gift from her to the entire cast and crew for wrapping the final season.’

It’s been revealed that Lancashire also donated props from the show, including her police hat, to raise £4,500 for a charity event run by Halifax’s Ukrainian Club.

Fans have praised the finale episode , with some hailing it as a ‘masterpiece’, and demanded that it be celebrated during awards season.

Sally Wainwright, who wrote the show, was called a ‘genius’, while one viewer went so far as to describe her work as ‘Shakespearean’.

The reactions to the Happy Valley finale make for much better reading than the reactions to the Line of Duty finale , the other popular BBC police drama, in 2021.

However, there are rumours that Line of Duty may not yet be done , with many of the show’s actors continually addressing rumours of a comeback.

Susan, who specialises in treating addiction, which the Duchess of York has said she struggled with, says: “It may sound ridiculous to say you are a food addict – after all, we all need food to survive – but I have seen thousands of people who are compulsively hooked on the very thing that is essential to life: food.

“If you are a food addict, gimmicky diets and detox regimes won’t help you to develop a healthy relationship with food. In fact, they will simply worsen your addiction, making your behaviour around food even less normal.”

On why diets don’t work in the long term for those looking to lose weight, Susan says: “Diets don’t tackle the root cause of your struggles with weight and food which lies in your mind.”

Susan offers alternative advice for those looking to lose weight, explaining that binning the bathroom scales is the first step to weight loss success. She says that scales can make us miserable if we don’t see the number we expect, meaning we lose focus and become demotivated, so instead we should measure weight loss on how our clothes fit.

Sarah Ferguson’s hypnotherapist also suggests rearranging your fridge. She recommends putting fruit and vegetables at the front of the fridge, so they’re the first thing you see when you open the door to reach for a tasty snack.

“This helps you to get into a healthy mindset and be less likely to give in to temptation, even if you are opening the fridge multiple times a day,” she says.

The Duchess of York previously spoke to HELLO! exclusively about her weight , explaining: “I have known what it’s like to struggle with weight since the age of 12 , when my parents’ marriage ended and I blamed myself.

Her dress seemed to feature a tight-fitted bodice and a slightly pleated skirt.

It had a cinched in waist that accentuated Sarah’s figure.

Her military-style jacket was a teal colour with darker sleeve cuffs and adorned with gold detailing.

It also had gold buttons and an upturned gold and red collar.

As for accessories, it seemed Sarah was wearing a silver watch and silver, dangling earrings that almost reached her shoulders.

The earrings seemed to be made of small, circular pearls and one square-shaped diamond on each earring.

Her red locks were swept back in natural waves, which fell past her shoulders.

In her photo’s caption, Sarah wrote: “Lots to smile about lately! And it is very important to remember that there is always something to smile about.”

Royal fans were quick to comment on the Duchess’ photo, complimenting her look. Instagram user @annelkeating wrote: “Great photo.”

Sarah is a huge fan of military-style jackets and has worn similar ones to her teal and gold version countless times in the past.

In May last year, when the Duchess donned the Tetsu beige military blazer from The Extreme Collection, fans took to social media to discuss her penchant.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar revealed in a recent interview that she was supposed to kiss costar Linda Cardellini in the 2002 film “Scooby-Doo” — but that the scene had been cut from the final release along with a joke “outing” Freddie Prinze Jr.’s character as potentially bisexual.

Gellar, who played Daphne in the movie alongside Cardellini’s Velma , told Bravo’s Andy Cohen on Thursday that they had actually filmed the steamy scene only to see it cut — and according to script author James Gunn, his original intent had been to go much further than a kiss.

“In 2001, Velma was explicitly gay in my initial script. But the studio just kept watering it down and watering it down, becoming ambiguous (the version shot), then nothing (the released version) and finally having a boyfriend (the sequel),” Gunn said of the project.

Gellar confirmed that vision during the “After Show” portion of Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” — saying, “There was a steamy kiss. It got cut. There was an actual kiss between Daphne and Velma that got cut. I feel like the world wants to see it. I don’t know where it is.”

According to Gellar, the entire movie had been pitched to the main actors — also including Matthew Lillard as “Shaggy” — as “less family friendly” than the long-running animated series. And for Gellar, that was a key selling point.

She also recalled one specific line that had been cut — a line that had cast ambiguity over Fred’s sexuality — that she was supposed to deliver during a fight with Prinze Jr.’s character.

“There was a great line too that I’ll never forget. Daphne and Fred were having a fight and I yell at him, ‘That ascot makes you look gay!’ I slam the door [at him]. They cut that, too,” Gellar said. “I think that was the reason I signed onto the movie. It’s something everyone’s thought for a long time. There’s always been an implication about Fred being interested in both parties. It all got cut.”

The new series on HBOMax, called “Velma” and featuring actress Mindy Kaling, has taken Gunn’s vision and applied it liberally, making the character openly gay.
