As tributes poured in for Morgan, ITV Network News editor Andrew Dagnell said that they are “deeply saddened” by the passing of their “remarkable colleague”. He further remembered her as an “incredibly talented journalist” and a “much-loved member of the ITV newsroom”. Dagnell also said that Morgan’s absence will be “deeply felt” by the ones who knew her. He concluded the lengthy statement by stressing that Morgan’s friendship, professionalism, enormous contribution to the industry and the public conversation “will not be forgotten”.
